Hi, I’m Vandita Patidar, a Software Developer II at AWS on the Lambda Tooling team. I build developer tools and infrastructure that make working with AWS Lambda easier and more reliable. I’ve worked led development of multiple IaC platforms like AWS SAM, CDK, and ACK, and led development of key features in the AWS Toolkit for VSCode, helping developers build, test, and deploy Lambda apps directly from the IDE.
I hold an M.S. in Information Technology and Web Science from RPI. Before AWS, I researched AI at IBM, improving explainability methods for business process automation, and worked with NASA on machine learning projects studying the impact of climate change on critical infrastructure.
